Marlette Teeth Whitening, Dental Implants, Veneers

Prior to any dental procedure, a comprehensive examination and any necessary x-rays of teeth and supporting structures must be performed to ensure a healthy, comfortable, and optimal treatment outcome. Of course, severe dental emergencies sometimes arise and are treated accordingly.

Comprehensive Care

Severely damaged or compromised teeth require careful diagnosis and treatment planning. If you have the need for extensive care, we can help you reach a level of dental health where long-lasting, comfortable, and attractive teeth can change your life.

Preventive Care

Dentistry today is about not only treatment, but also the prevention of further disease. This is where our office truly shines. We believe in a conscientious program of routinely scheduled appointments for cleanings and examinations once a patient has successfully completed his/her treatment. This aspect of our office is performed by our professional dental hygienists (examinations by the doctor). Our preventive program includes cleanings, x-rays (as needed), treatment of periodontal (gum) disease and fluoride treatments for children and young adults.

Family Dentistry: Dr. Upright treats the entire family. Usually, we see children around age three and strive to make dentistry a positive experience, from their first visit and through the years, as it should be.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Tooth bleaching/whitening: is the top cosmetic procedure performed in America today. Tooth whitening is a process that lightens discolorations on your teeth. While there are many products and techniques for whitening your teeth, including take-home programs, at Upright Dental we use Perfecta™, a fast, highly effective, in-office whitening system. With Perfecta™, we can dramatically change the color of your teeth in about an hour! Whitening is ideal for treating discolorations on the enamel and dentin of your teeth. Stains from coffee, tea -- even smoking -- can be minimized or even eliminated in just one visit. In-office whitening can also help treat stains caused by tetracycline use. Having your teeth whitened is one of the easiest ways to reinvigorate your smile and brighten your outlook.

To find out if Dr. Upright can create a beautiful smile for you with tooth bleaching, call or e-mail our office today!

Bonding: Where decay, defective restorations, and chipped or broken teeth are meticulously restored to function, utilizing a natural-tooth-colored resin, which is bonded to existing enamel to provide an aesthetic alternative to "silver fillings".

Veneers: Where thin shells of ceramic are adhered to the front surfaces of teeth after the enamel has been prepared. Veneers can enhance teeth that are severely discolored, damaged, misaligned, or poorly shaped. This is the most esthetic and durable of the cosmetic options and can be accomplished in as little as one visit!

Implants

The new millennium brings with it the dental technological marvel of implants. Teeth which have been lost can now be replaced without removable appliances (partial dentures) or bridges (which involve preparation of adjacent, perfectly undamaged teeth ). This technique is when a biologically-compatible metal (titanium) is placed surgically within the bone where the tooth (teeth) was lost. Four to six months later, the missing tooth is then replaced with a wonderful, new tooth which fits onto the dental implant. It's like growing a new tooth in about six months!

Crowns & Bridges

Yes, Dr. Upright believes in those too! Teeth that are in need of significant rebuilding or missing may need the treatment options of crowns and/or bridges. These can be completed in as little as a few visits!

Dentures

Dr. Upright can provide dentures for patients. Come in for a consultation to see how this procedure can change your life. We can make them before you have your teeth extracted and have them ready to go in when you have your teeth removed. This allows you to get back out in the public eye with very little downtime.
